Roy Dalene is Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Telemark Inc. and its affiliated companies. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Hamptons Luxury Homes, Inc. Hamptons Luxury Homes, Inc is the parent company of Telemark Inc. and is publically traded under the symbol (HLXH).
Roy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York. After graduation, he joined Bechtel Power Corporation and worked in the structural design and construction of nuclear power plants. After his stay at Bechtel, Roy joined his brother, Frank, and father, Hugo; becoming Chief Operating Officer of what is now Telemark, Inc.
Over the years Roy has been a local leader active in trade associations, an educator to the industry, and active in the community through his involvement with the Town of East Hampton and local service organizations.
In September of 2007 Roy was formally recognized by the East End Chapter of The Long Island Builder’s Institute, Inc. “For his many contributions to the Community as well as his dedication to Building Professionalism…”
Roy has made contributions to the building profession by serving on the Advisory Board for Custom Builder Magazine and Custom Builder National Conference and Expo.
Roy has also been a seminar speaker at the Custom Builder Conference and Expo. He spoke on a range of topics including 1) "Million Dollar Secrets", 2)"The Builder's Service Station: How to Generate Revenue Maintaining the Homes You Build", 3)"Innovations in Building Luxury Homes: New Construction Techniques", and 4) "Pre-Primed Products Cover-Up: What You Don't Know Could Hurt You". Roy has also served as a judge for the ARDA Custom Home of the Year Award.
Remaining active in and serving the community, Roy has served as a member of The Town of East Hampton Licensing Review Board since 1986 and has been Chairman since 1995. Roy also served as a member of the Town of East Hampton Youth Advisory Board and as a Director of the Business Alliance for The Town of Southampton.
Currently serving as President of the East Hampton Lions Club. Roy has also served as the Chairman of the Parade and Education Committees. He and his family also raised two puppies as part of the Lion’s Club sponsorship to the Puppy Walker Program for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind.
Roy resides in East Hampton, NY with his wife Lori. Roy and Lori have three children Timothy, Amy and Jessica. Roy is an avid skier and also enjoys surfcasting, golf, and music.
