The Town of East Hampton is the easternmost town on Long Island (Suffolk County, New York State). It encompasses a land area of 70 square miles on Long Island's south fork and has almost 70 miles of waterfront on three sides. The Town is bordered by the Town of Southampton to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the east and south, and Gardiner's Bay to the north.
To some East Hampton has a New England type appearance with a broad Main Street covered in part by towering elms, grey-shingled sloping roofed eighteenth century houses, and an almost limitless series sand dunes and beaches reaching into an endless ocean.
East Hampton has become a true vacation Mecca and summer residence to the rich and famous. Though Telemark has provided services to those who live and work in the town year round, we are best known for the work we have done creating some of the most remarkable structures in East Hampton.
